The Laguna Greens Neighborhood Watch started April 1995 and is dedicated to keeping our neighborhood a safe place to live by increasing awareness of crime prevention, creating a neighborhood network, and decreasing "my neighbor is a stranger" factor that contributes to indifference about the neighborhood and neighbors. Our mission is the education of the community and public about crime prevention, safety and law enforcement resources. The goals are: to create a network of concerned citizens; to provide activities for children and adults which promote interaction and communication among members of the community and the public; to create a liaison with local law enforcement and pubic officials which facilitates rapid response to our concerns; and to develop educational programs which increase awareness of crime prevention.
